NAEMT's 2011 Paramedic of the Year and EMT of the Year are featured as candidates for America's Most Wanted (AMW) All-Star grand prize. Now in its eighth year, the AMW All-Star contest honors our nation's first responders, and the public chooses the AMW All-Star grand prize winner. The winner will receive a check for $10,000 by AMW's John Walsh, and a trip to the NASCAR SPRINT Cup SeriesTM All-Star Challenge in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The 2011 NAEMT Paramedic of the Year, Anne Edwards, NREMT-P, from Indianapolis, Ind., and the 2011 NAEMT EMT of the Year, William (Bill) Rise, EMT-I, from Milbank, S.D., are both worthy of this honor.
