NAEMT addresses the operational needs of EMS agencies and their personnel through globally recognized education courses. NAEMT courses provide high-quality, evidence-based education that prepares EMS practitioners to assess and treat a wide variety of medical conditions, face the many challenges that come with working in the field, and stay safe on the job.

All NAEMT courses for EMS and other out-of-hospital practitioners are approved for continuing education credit by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). Proceeds from NAEMT education programs help support the advancement of the EMS profession through advocacy, education, and research.
