NAEMT members are invited to attend a brand-new General Membership Meeting and Awards Presentation at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, prior to the commencement of EMS Expo in Las Vegas. The purpose of the meeting is to bring together the “family” of NAEMT members to recognize sponsors, volunteers and outstanding achievements of individuals within the EMS community.

Highlights of the meeting include:

• A review of the activities and successes of the association during the year, and a discussion of some of the challenges facing the profession
• Presentation of key goals for the association in 2009
• A special national awards ceremony recognizing the outstanding achievements of individuals working in EMS
• A reception for all NAEMT members and invited guests immediately following the meeting
