Immediate Past President Jerry Johnston represented NAEMT at the American College of Emergency Physicians’ Summit on Quality & Performance held in Washington, DC, on November 21. The summit discussed quality and performance measures that have been historically utilized and what models might look like in the future. While the focus was on the Emergency Department, EMS will ultimately be involved and hold a stakeholder interest in this very important issue.
