The NAEMT Board of Directors took bold steps at their most recent meeting to represent the interests of EMS practitioners and the patients they serve. The Board adopted new position statements on EMS in Health Care Reform, EMS Practitioner Safety and EMS Patient Safety. To view full copies of the position statements, click here.
The Board also endorsed passage of U.S. House Bill 3200 to assist military veterans with emergency training to become state licensed or certified EMTs. Board members believe that this legislation will be of great benefit to our veterans, our communities, and our country's EMS system.
