On May 3, members of the NAEMT Board of Directors met with representatives of federal agencies with jurisdiction over EMS operations in our nation.  Agency representatives were briefed on NAEMT programs and activities, and shared with Board members how NAEMT can support federal initiatives.  Meetings were held with:

• Drew Dawson, Director of the EMS Section at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and his staff.
• Richard Serino, Deputy Administrator, Federal Emergency Management Agency
• Drs. Kathryn Brinsfield and Michael Zanker, Department of Homeland Security - Office of Health Affairs.
