To coincide with the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has written an open letter to our partners in the law enforcement and first responder communities to recognize their vital role in keeping our homeland safe and secure. These individuals have played a critical role both in the immediate aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks, and in the 10 years since.
