National Public Health Week is right around the corner, and the American Public Health Association (APHA) needs your help to make this another successful campaign. Scheduled for April 1-7, National Public Health Week 2013 is focusing on “Public Health is ROI - Save Lives, Save Money.”

The theme is a reference to the public health return on investment, or ROI, which shows that for every dollar spent to prevent health problems in a community, $5.60 in later medical treatment is averted.
