Blast Injury Essential Facts and Information

In light of Boston Marathon bombings, the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) and the Emergency Care Coordination Center (ECCC) have released the following information from the CDC on Blast Injuries:

Additional information- This CDC document contains 10 patient surge templates to assist EMS services and hospitals in preparing for a patient surge from bombings. The templates cover EMS response and 9 individual hospital departments. The EMS templates can be found on pages 21 - 24.
