Dear Members,

Happy EMS week to everyone, from the EMS practitioners to the mechanics, the logistics coordinators, the dispatchers, the field training officers, the billing folks, the station managers, the training coordinators, the IT managers, the administrative assistants, the leaders and the trainees.

I'm sure I missed many who are involved in this team effort and, for that, I apologize. There are so many team members who work hard every day to make the magic of EMS happen.

However, you get my drift - this is a true team effort, one which should be celebrated every day, not just one week in the year. Find those special team members and make it EMS week for them - and, instead of doing it one week a year, make it a point to thank one team member a week all year. As you reach out to these team members, you'll start to see how blessed we all are to have this passion for helping those in need.

Let's face it - we have the greatest career in the world! On behalf of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, we want to wish you a very happy EMS week this week, and all throughout the year.
