Details are out on the Obama Administration's request for emergency funding for the domestic and international Ebola responses. The request includes billions of dollars for the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other public health agencies, but there appears to be no additional funding dedicated to EMS agencies for the same purpose. In written witness testimony submitted to the Senate Appropriations Committee, NAEMT states, "NAEMT supports the Administration's request for additional resources for Ebola preparedness and response but have determined it does not go far enough."
