On June 11, leading EMS organizations wrote to key members of the U.S. House Energy & Commerce Committee and its Health Subcommittee with an "urgent and unified message: the current shortage of Essential Emergency Medications (EEMs) is threatening lives on a daily basis and leaves the United States unprepared to respond to disasters."
