Live Streaming Available to Those Who Cannot Attend

A live streaming of the EMS Agenda 2050 National Implementation Forum will broadcast from Washington, DC, on Thursday, September 20th. Those who cannot attend the event in-person are encouraged to register for the webcast to virtually participate in the forum.

EMs Agenda

During the EMS Agenda 2050 National Implementation Forum, members of the EMS Agenda 2050 Technical Expert Panel will discuss the people-centered EMS system envisioned in EMS Agenda 2050 and the vision's guiding principles. The forum will also include presentations and panel discussions about the implementation of the vision. Invited speakers include:

  • Bill Atkinson, PhD, an experienced healthcare executive who began his career as a paramedic and most recently served as president and CEO of WakeMed in North Carolina.
  • Art Kellermann, MD, dean of the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine and former chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Emory University.
  • Ted Delbridge, MD, primary investigator of the original EMS Agenda for the Future.
  • Jess Pines, MD, emergency physician, National Director of Clinical Innovation for US Acute Care Solutions and former director of the Center for Healthcare Innovation & Policy Research at George Washington University.
  • Joe Penner, executive director of MEDIC, the primary paramedic service for the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
  • Jeff Michael, EdD, NHTSA associate administrator for research and program development.
