NAEMT, along with other organizations, sent the following letters to the Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Becerra:

March 19: Urges HHS to expeditiously exercise the emergency waiver authority for ground ambulance services provided through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to reimburse ground ambulance providers for providing treatment in place (TIP) services.

March 22: Requests the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to ensure hospitals are complying with the infectious disease notification requirements under the Ryan White Act, including notification of exposure to COVID-19.
