Enroll Now for the Free Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator Collaborative
Deadline is August 15 for this unique opportunity to learn more about improving care for pediatric patients
Does your agency have a pediatric emergency care coordinator? The presence of one or more individuals with a specific interest in improving pediatric care within a healthcare organization has been shown to improve outcomes for children. While many EMS systems have clinicians with a passion for pediatrics, the opportunities for them to receive specific training and collaborate with others to initiate quality improvement efforts are limited.
The PECC Workforce Development Collaborative is a chance to identify a PECC for your organization and give them the tools they need to make a difference for children in your community. The monthly learning and coaching sessions provide participants withresources, example practices and networking opportunities at no cost to help push forward any effort for pediatric improvement in EMS agencies, emergency departments or hospitals.
Enroll here by August 15. The program is open to any EMS or hospital-based healthcare provider. Formal pediatric training, experience, or a title related to pediatric care is not required, but current PECCs are welcome to enroll. The collaborative will have four customized tracks:
1) EMS practitioners
2) Nurses/healthcare professionals
3) Physicians/advanced practice providers
4) EMSC State Partnership Program Managers
The program begins Sept. 2, 2021, and runs through June 30, 2022. Sessions are recorded for participants who cannot attend live.
