NAEMT was represented by Region IV Director Charlene Donahue at the International Bird Flu Summit in Las Vegas on November 13-14. She spoke on the topic of EMS and First Response to a pandemic bird flu threat. This summit was well attended by approximately 20 countries and representatives from the Centers for Disease Control, Department of Homeland Security and the World Health Organization.
