Once again, the temporary 2% urban, 3% rural and 22.6% super rural Medicare ambulance increases will expire on December 31. Congress has returned to D.C. for a "lame duck" session to consider extensions of the Bush tax cuts and the physician fix. 

The extension of the physician fix provides EMS with the best opportunity for an extension of Medicare ambulance relief. Please call or e-mail your Congressional representatives to support attaching Medicare ambulance relief extensions to the physician fix extension.
