The following courses are available to address the needs of providers and instructors:

Provider Course: 8-hour classroom course for EMS practitioners at all levels. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of completion, a wallet card recognizing them as PTEP providers for 4 years, and 8 hours of CAPCE credit.

Online Instructor Orientation: This online course is available to current NAEMT instructors who wish to become PTEP instructors. This orientation was written by PTEP authors to explain the components of the course and teach instructors how to host an engaging learning experience for EMS practitioners. It highlights the course features and the best practices for utilizing course components, including interactive skill stations and case-based lectures. After successfully completing the online instructor orientation, NAEMT Instructors may begin teaching PTEP, without being monitored teaching their first course.
