• Debra L. Bell, MS, CCEMTP, EMT-T, NJ-CEM

  Debra Bell has been involved in EMS for 38 years and continues to work as a field paramedic for Inspira Health Network EMS where she also serves as an instructor. Debbie is an instructor for the Paramedic Program at the Atlantic Cape Community College and a contract instructor for the National Fire Academy and the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management. Debbie has a Bachelor’s degree in HealthCare Administration, a Masters degree in Disaster Management and Medicine, and a Masters in Cyber and Homeland Security. Debbie is the Emergency Management Coordinator for Buena Vista Township, the paramedic representative for the NJ Emergency Medical Services for Children Governor’s Advisory Committee, Board Member for the NJ Emergency Preparedness Association, Commissioner for the NJ Emergency Management Association, a Managing Board Member for the USCG Sector Delaware Bay, member of the NJ All Hazards Incident Management Team and a State Leader for the NJ EMS Task Force. Debbie is an instructor and Affiliate Faculty of NAEMT courses and has assisted with development and updating of courses. Debbie is a past member of the NAEMT EMS Disaster Preparedness Committee.

   

   

• Rebecca  Carmody, EMT-P, NV Master Instructor

  Rebecca Carmody is a Training Instructor for the Clark County Fire Department in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has been a Paramedic serving the Las Vegas valley for 22 years in 911 service. She became an EMS Instructor and has taught in various capacities for the College of Southern Nevada Paramedicine Program, North American Rescue, Community Ambulance, and MedicWest Ambulance. Rebecca has served on the NAEMT National EMS Workforce Committee and the EMS Disaster Preparedness Committee. She is an active participant in Team Rubicon and other Non-Governmental Organizations, responding to disasters in Africa, Fiji, and all over the United States.

   

• Chris Hadis, AEMT, BS

  Chris Hadis serves as an EMS Instructor/Coordinator as well as a Safety Officer and Medical Project Manager/Emergency Planner in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as well as field sites throughout the nation. Chris has been involved in Emergency Medical Services for 28 years with experience in military and municipal fire department Emergency Medical Services as well as Law Enforcement and Homeland Security. He also formerly served as an EMS Director for a private EMS agency serving multiple states. Chris also serves as a Medical Project Manager for a nationwide agency, overseeing medical and rescue services at special events including the largest Obstacle Course Races in the country. Chris holds numerous specialized training certifications as well as Instructor credentials. He has provided training in several specialized disciplines for local, state and federal agencies. Chris is an active member of the NAEMT Disaster Preparedness Committee as well as an active member of numerous professional organizations.

   

• Matthew J. Levy, DO, MSc, FAEMS, FACEP

  Dr. Matthew Levy is an EMS and academic emergency medicine physician with nearly three decades of experience, who began his career as a frontline EMS clinician and has served as an EMT, paramedic, training officer and now medical director. He is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Surgery at Johns Hopkins and serves as the Deputy Director of Operational Medicine within the Department of Emergency Medicine. He is the Chief Medical Officer and EMS Medical Director of the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services and the Central Maryland (Region III) EMS Medical Director for the State of Maryland. In addition, he actively participates in various local, state, federal, and international public and private organizations related to prehospital, operational, and disaster medical care.
